Began the day with a dental appointment. It had been almost 10 years since I had my teeth checked. My dentist here in Singapore gave my teeth a thumbs up for its upkeep and general condition. I was quite proud of how well my teeth has done. I had some cleaning done and I sought advise about my wisdom teeth extraction and the answer is yes, get it done ASAP. So, I'll have to make it happen when I return home.
The rest of the day was pretty much planned out. I was going to hang out with Shawn and Eva during the day and in the evening meet up with some other close friends of mine. Shawn and Eva took me to a great Japanese restaurant for lunch. After lunch we headed to the shopping district of Singapore, Orchard Road. We spent the next few hours shopping. I wasn't able to find anything this trip, so it turned out to be another window shopping experience. I think the exchange rate is affecting my buying power and will. Oh well...
After we were done shopping, I went and met up with some close church friends, Charlotte & Andrew, Roland & Shelly and Eric (Joy, his wife, was ill and couldn't come). I am blessed to have friends like these guys. They are wonderful people and I love them dearly. It was a blast catching up and sharing life stories. After a long night out, we all headed home to prepare for the next day.
