2nd Night of Camp

We are into our 2nd night at camp. We had a crazy two days so far. We got settled in after arriving here and we got busy setting up our gear. We quickly learnt what our night was going to be like. Our 'sound' guy was running late and when he arrived we found out that he was a youth pastor who brought a student to run the sound. Then we find out that he didn't have any gear on him and was thinking we could use stuff at the camp which they didn't have. We had to get creative and thanks to Pat's foresight we had enough gear to run our monitors and run it to the FOH sound. We ad-libbed and made it work come service time. God is so gracious and we had a great first night. We were thoroughly worn out and hungry by the end of the night.

Day 2 came pretty early. I had a hard time sleeping and the sun comes out early here. We had to play to kick off the morning and then we got to hang out and run some errands. Now I am sitting listening to the speaker. We had a great worship time and the students were very responsive. God is working on these students and we heard abt some of the stories of these students. It really blows my mind to hear these life struggles these students have experienced. I am praying that God will continue to work in the lives here.
