For those who have read some of my past blog entries, you know that my dad has an existing heart condition that is requiring surgery. In a few hours (Singapore time), he'll be heading to the hospital for some preliminary tests and then he will admitted into the hospital for surgery (Thursday morning). The surgery is going to be performed by one of the finest teams in Singapore trained specially for such a procedure, so he is in good hands medically. He is also in good hands because we are trusting God to oversee the whole operation and also to touch my dad's body.
I was chatting with my sister (who is in Singapore with the kids) earlier today, and she told me that my dad was busy today reminding her where all the legal documents were kept around the house. It was quite a surreal experience for her. We know that there are uncertainties in life but our family is choosing to trust God, and we know that He is in control, so we have nothing to fear. Please do keep our family in prayer and for a peace to continue to surround us. Pray also for the doctors and the team performing the surgery.
Thank you on behalf of my family! God is good!
