Carrie Underwood's Concert
This week I had the opportunity to go and watch Carrie Underwood at the Puyallup Fair. I have been waiting to see her live for quite a while, actually since the first day the tickets went on sale. As most people know, I am a country music fan and more importantly a Carrie fan. So I was very excited to hear that she was coming to town and I could make the show.
The day of the concert was quite a crazy one. I was mostly alone running the business that day and I also had my interview set up to get my credentials as a minister. As such I had to be at the office all day and couldn't leave earlier like I was hoping. To make matters worse, I had not found anyone to go with me to the concert. I take the blame for most of that so whatever. I eventually found someone to go with me. Mary Bolen graciously agreed to go with me.

Mary was an excellent "date" and I had a blast hanging with her. She was so hilarious to be around at first. She was like an excited school girl going to a concert of her favorite artist. She was calling people up on the ride there and asking people to guess where she was going. It was fun times! Thanks Mary for agreeing to go with me!
The concert was great! The girl can sing and she had a good band backing her as well. There were some sound issues that could have been better but it was all good. I was seated next to a shrieking teenage girl who was trying (and I mean trying) to sing along with every tune. She also raised her hand when asked if there were any audience members going to try out for American Idol. This girl was capable of shrieking so loud it was piercing my ears. Man! She also keeping calling people and receiving calls throughout the concerts and had to yell out to the person over the phone that she couldn't hear them...duh! Stop answering the calls silly girl!
Apart for those issues, I had a great time and a great memory. I am excited to see where Carrie goes with her career.

Darn! I'm sorry to have missed the date with you. I wish i cld have gone though :(
But hey, you looked like you had a blast of a time. :D
I know, that is a bummer you missed the show. It would have been very expensive having to travel so far to see the show. ;)
