Day 3 - 9 August
"Dude, it's 8:05..." - that was what Doug said to me this morning. I turned around went back to sleep. Then we both kinda jumped out of bed say "We're late!"
Don't worry! We were not late for any presentation. Doug had befriended a adjudicator from Everett that was deaf and since he knows sign language he volunteered our help to drive her the past few days to the convention center. So this morning we were supposed to take her to the convention center by 8. So we both threw on some clothes and rushed to the van and picked Peggy up. Fortunately for all of us, she too overslept but she managed to get ready before us.
After dropping Peggy off, we headed back to the condo to shower, have some breakfast and meet up with the team. We had decided to take the trolley system to get to the convention center today.

We had 2 presentations today, Jenny's Human Video Solo and Tiffany's Female Vocal Solo. I accompanied Tiffany on my guitar.
Jenny rocked with her presentation. She had a little false start because she had given the wrong CD but after fixing that problem, she nailed her presentation.

Next up was Tiffany's presentation. Before we left Seattle, Tiffany told me she wanted to do one of the newer songs we've been doing at church and she wanted me to accompany her since I was coming on the trip. We picked the song "Wonderful" written by Sandy Smith. Tiffany did an awesome job with the song especially since we stripped it down just to the acoustic guitar and her singing. I was really nervous playing. She held her own and did a great job! Two of the three adjudicators were from Washington, so it was nice to have our peeps there!

We wrapped up our day and headed back to the condos. We are going to the service tonight and then to dinner so where.
Another good day here in Orlando. The weather was around 100 degrees and humid. Fun times! Everyone is doing great and have a good time.
Well, until later...PEACE!
