Day 2 of the Enter Conference

Another beautiful day in Colorado Springs. We found ourselves worn out from our first day here. We had trouble sleeping last night mostly due to the higher altitude. In any case, we were ready for the day to begin.

We headed to the church for the morning session. The Desperation Band lead the worship this morning. We had a good time of worship. Lincoln Brewster was the speaker for the morning session. We were excited to get re-aquanited with Lincoln. He did an awesome job speaking about developing healthy teams. It was very encouraging.

After the general session, we each went to a different break out session. I went to the session where they were talking about rehearsing a band and working as a band. It was great to see the dynamic of the players from New Life Church. It was great to hear their hearts.

After the break out session, we had a lunch break and we went to a place called Ted's Montana Grill. I tried Bisson for the first time and it was yummy. We headed back to the church for the afternoon break out session. All of us decided to go together to the Auditioning session. Ross Parsley and Linc shared from their experiences and gave us a run down of what they do with respect to the audition process and really the leadership process. It was yet another insightful time of learning.

We had a short break after that session, so we headed back to the hotel to chill. Then it was time to head back for the evening of worship with Linc and the band. We were looking forward to hearing the guys play.

It was an amazing time of worship and God's presence was very evident again tonight. Linc does a great job and is so talented. It was a blast!

After the worship experience, we headed once again to PF Chang's to have dinner and celebrate Craig's birthday. It was a fun night, sharing life stories and talking about what we had learnt this weekend.

Well, it was another great day here and it is time to crash. Craig's got to head to the airport at 5:30 am, so we've got a long day ahead. Good night...
